DRWF launch new 'donate online' facility

DRWF has launched a brand new 'donate online' facility which enables supporters to donate online securely via our secure Barclaycard ePDQ payment gateway. 

DRWF receive no Government funding. If 4,000 supporters donated £5 each online, this would cover the cost of just one of the DRWF Open Funding grants (£20,000) of which, six are allocated each year.

The 2009 DRWF financial statements highlighted that 84p of every £1 spent during the year went towards the charity's objectives. Online gifts make a real difference to DRWF and the people the charity supports.
 
Supporters can also choose to Gift Aid their donation, which means that if you are a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your donation to the charity by at least 25% under the Gift Aid scheme - at no additional cost to yourself.

At the time of making a donation, supporters can also choose to join the DRWF Diabetes Wellness Network, to which there is a 25% discount for joining online. Network members receive the charity’s monthly newsletter, the Diabetes Wellness News, a quarterly pocket diary and discounts to the DRWF annual programme of Diabetes Wellness Events.

Supporters can also choose to make a donation in the memory of a loved one and can opt to be kept informed of DRWF news and updates. All data is held in accordance with the DRWF Privacy Policy.
