"Active with Diabetes" Walking Holiday

In 2012 the “Active with Diabetes” Walking Holiday will be based in the village of Richmond for a five night stay. During the week a dedicated leader from Ramblers Countrywide Holidays will guide three full days of walking through the breathtaking scenery of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Together we will explore this area of outstanding natural beauty and the region’s many ancient monuments, including the Norman castle and abbeys, the cobbled villages, the River Swale and parts of Wainwright’s Coast-to-Coast way.  This unique DRWF event is an ideal way to learn how to include and sustain moderate activity as part of a good diabetes management strategy.
