Sunday 10th - Friday 15th May 2009
DRWF invite you all to join us in the breathtaking
surroundings of Windermere in the Lake District for the 2009 Active With Diabetes Walking Holid
ay.
Set in the southwestern Lake District, Bowness-on-Windermere provides a superb base from which to explore the marvellous fell countryside, surrounding England's largest lake.
The woodlands of Claife Heights, the seclusion of Little Langdale and Elterwater and the tranquillity and remote beauty of Blelham Tarn and Tarns Hows await your discovery.
Attendees will enjoy a five night, all inclusive stay at Beatrix Potter's Lindeth Howe Country House Hotel, three days of Ramblers led walking and one day of sightseeing and exploring the local area.
If you would like to join DRWF for a week of exercise and outdoor activity and the chance to meet other people with diabetes, please contact our Event Co-ordinator Lee Calladine for an information pack on 023 92 636133 or email: lee.calladine@drwf.org.uk
