Research Advisory Board - Krystyna Matyka

Senior Lecturer in Paediatrics at Warwick Medical School.

Krystyna runs a weight management clinic for children with problems of excess weight and is a member of the Paediatric Diabetes Clinical team at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.

Her research interests include the influence of physical activity in metabolic risk in children from different ethnic backgrounds and also hypoglycaemia in Type 1 diabetes and its impact on diabetes management.

Krystyna is on the Committee of the Association of the Study of Obesity and is Chair of the Science and Research Working Group of the Professional Advisory Council of Diabetes UK.
