On Sunday 6 September 2009, 160,000 rubber ducks will once again race up the Thames to raise money for charity!

Sponsor a rubber duck for DRWF this year and your donation will go towards our patient support and outreach activities and research into an ultimate cure for the condition.

At 12 noon on Duck Race day the ducks will be loaded into Molesey Lock, near the fabulous Hampton Court. The race will start at 1.30pm when the lock gates will be opened and the ducks will be propelled down the 1km course to the finish line at Albany Reach.

The first duck over the line will win £10,000 and the next thirty will receive runner-up prizes.

In addition to the main race this year, the new online duck race prize draw means that there are also possible cash prizes every month for duck adoptees.

Once you have adopted your ducks online you will automatically be entered into the online duck race, as well as the main race itself to be in with a chance of winning.
