DRWF are pleased to announce two new diabetes information leaflets to the already comprehensive series.
A healthy diet and diabetes is a new leaflet written by Pam Dyson, Specialist Diabetes Dietitian, Oxford and Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust. It is an easy to read simple guide for a healthy diet which includes information on carbohydrates, sugar and what to eat in order to lower your risk of heart
disease.
Diabetes and exercise is written by DRWF Editorial Board member, Andrea Cameron, Programme Leader, Sport and Exercise, at the University of Abertay. It explains how much exercise to take, why it is important for your diabetes, top tips for getting started and how to exercise safely.
