DRWF Market Research

posted: 20/01/2012 10:18:00

Like DRWF, AHC is a "small team with big ideas”. They have more than 20 years experience in market research with a particular emphasis on the charitable sector and membership organisations.

In the first half of this year AHC (on behalf of DRWF) are set to conduct a market research and evaluation programme to assess and review the services we offer to members. This will look at how members and the general public alike, interact with the charity, and what you would like to see from DRWF in the future.

As a member of the Diabetes Wellness Network your input will be vital as we aim to see how we can make membership as cost effective as possible, while enhancing the benefits and services of the organisation for you.

The aim of the research will be to review the current service provision, both content and delivery format, and gather vital user information to further develop our services and steer future provision.

Over the coming months AHC will be gathering feedback on:

  • Issues faced by people with diabetes to establish information need
  • Overall satisfaction with Diabetes Wellness Network fee structure/benefits
  • Feedback on the relevance, content and design of Diabetes Wellness News and diabetes information leaflets
  • Feedback on DRWF educational Wellness event programme

The most cost effective method for AHC to gather this feedback is via an online survey, whereby you will be sent an e-mail with a link to the survey. We would therefore be grateful if you can ensure that DRWF have an up-to-date e-mail address for you, if available, to allow us to make best use of the budget available for this project. Please contact the DRWF office via subs@drwf.org.uk or 02392 637808 to provide this, or amend and return the contact sheet attached to Diabetes Wellness News.

For those of you without e-mail/Internet access, AHC will provide other opportunities for taking part – e.g. via a postal survey attached to Diabetes Wellness News, so keep an eye out for this!

All research will be undertaken anonymously, and no record of names or personal details will be recorded within the data collected or reported, in accordance with the MRS Code of Conduct and the Data Protection Act 1998. No data or information will be passed on to any third parties. The research and feedback received will be used solely to help DRWF to develop and improve the information and services that we provide our members.

Around 15 per cent of DWN subscribers responded to the feedback request in the December edition of Diabetes Wellness News, and we hope you will be able to assist AHC as they follow-up on those findings. The outcome will enable DRWF to ensure that it continues to provide information and support that is relevant to its users needs in a cost effective and efficient way.

Please do get involved!
