DRWF and the University of Greenwich are working collaboratively to hold a Spring Conference for healthcare professionals and academics at the University of Greenwich on Friday, 15th April.
The Spring Conference will take place in the Pilkington Building at the University of Greenwich Medway Campus. Registration and arrival will begin at 8.30am and the talks will start at 9am. The day will end at around 5.30pm.
The conference is open to all relevant professionals in the diabetes arena including academic researchers, clinical practitioners, students, nurse practitioners, research and wellness and other community based organisations.
In addition, abstracts are being invited for short oral and poster communications. For more information on abstract submission please click here
The programme for the day includes talks by Dr Rowan Hillson, National Clinical Director for Diabetes (Department of Health) and Dr P Amuna from the University of Greenwich. For the full programme click here
Conference registration is now open. Costs are £50 for the day or £10 for students. The cost includes the full day’s programme, lunch, refreshments and parking.
There is a Diabetes Wellness Day taking place for the general public on Saturday 16th April 2011 at the same venue. Conference delegates are also welcome to attend the full day for free with lunch, refreshments and parking included, otherwise there is a separate £5 registration fee.

On arrival, please report to the gatehouse at the main entrance of the university for a windscreen pass. You will be directed to the car park and to the Pilkington Building where the event is being held.
Please note: Please DO NOT park on North Road outside the Pilkington Building, otherwise you may receive a parking fine!
