Diabetes Awareness Necklace

As part of our outreach programme, we offer FREE diabetes awareness necklaces to anyone requesting them from our head office.

These necklaces, which can be worn discreetly under clothing, are designed to alert anyone providing emergency medical assistance to the casualty’s diabetic condition.  This can help speed up diagnosis and treatment considerably and could even mean the difference between life and death.

At DRWF we encourage anyone with diabetes, and especially those prone to suffering hypoglycaemia, to wear this form of identification.

We also provide diabetes ID cards which can be personalised and carried in a wallet or purse.  These are also provided free of charge on request.
