Insulin Pump

Hello

I have had type 1 diabetes for 6 years and am currentlyinjecting about five times a day. My basal insulin is Humalin I and my bolus is Humalog.

I am considering switching to a pump. I have read lots of literature and supporting information but would like to hear some pro's and cons from some already using one.

The pro's look good but I am worried about certain aspects, such as the pump malfunctioning, wearing it in hot climates and the associated costs.

Can anyone give me some idea of what it is like to live with a pump.
