Hold a fundraising event

Many people call us and offer to fundraise by means of sponsored events, coffee mornings and raffles etc. In order to help our supporters as best we can, we have put together a 'Fundraising Activity Pack' with some helpful suggestions and considerations to make, when planning an event of any kind. It is not exhaustive and you should always be sure to check with the relevant authorities before undertaking any kind of event open to members of the public.

Recycle ink cartridges and mobile phones for DRWF

This is a simple scheme, free of charge, that allows you to collect and recycle used printer inkjets and mobile phones and convert them into a cash donation for DRWF.

Recycle4charity.co.uk donates £1 for each inkjet cartridge (that has not been recycled before) received from their list of wanted inkjets.

They also donate 50% of any recycled value for mobile phone handsets straight to the charity.

If you are interested, you can register online and recycle4charity.co.uk will send you some freepost recycling bags. Just place your empty inkjets and mobile phones in the recycling bags and pop them in the post. Monies raised recycling these items will be sent directly to DRWF.

If you register online you will also get a unique Supporter ID that gives you full access to your account online. You can order more bags/boxes at anytime and even see how much you have raised for your beneficiary!
