World Diabetes Day 2025

Welcome to our celebration of World Diabetes Day 2025, where we celebrate the successes of diabetes care and research.
For 2025, we are exploring women's health and diabetes through a special eight-part series in our Living with Diabetes podcast.
World Diabetes Day was created in 1991 by International Diabetes Federation and the World Health Organization in response to growing concerns about the escalating health threat posed by diabetes. It is marked every year on 14th November, the birthday of Sir Frederick Banting, who along with Charles Best, co-discovered insulin in 1922.
