Seventh annual awards now open for entry.
This year’s Quality in Care Diabetes Awards has been launched – with categories for nominations now open ahead of the October prize giving ceremony.
The awards will be held on Thursday, 12th October at Sanofi’s headquarters in Guildford, Surrey.
The QiC Diabetes Awards helps to identify innovations and innovators involved in diabetes care to recognise their achievements and spread the word about innovative new practices more widely across the NHS, charities and healthcare industry with the aim of improving options for people with diabetes and their families and carers.
There are awards for people involved in many areas of patient care and service delivery for people with diabetes and so anybody involved in an initiative or programme related to diabetes in any way, is encouraged to enter.
Judges are keen to review a wide spectrum of entries and to recognise the innovative practice that they know are out there. The closing date for entries is Friday, 26th May.
The QiC Diabetes Programme is fully funded by Sanofi Diabetes and supported by DRWF.
Sarah Tutton, DRWF Chief Executive, said: “QiC Diabetes provides a collaborative environment for all those working to improve the care of people living with diabetes, in which to share information and innovation in care delivery. We are delighted to support the QiC Diabetes programme and share in this recognition of achievement of inspiring and dedicated people.”
