The awards ceremony will this year celebrate 10 years of recognising and rewarding good practice quality in diabetes management, education and services for people with diabetes and/or their families.
Each year healthcare professionals and anyone else working in diabetes care are invited to nominate inspirational work in the following categories: Outstanding Educator in Diabetes, Diabetes Professional of the Year and the People’s Award.
A Quality in Care award means an initiative has been recognised by the NHS, patients and industry as improving the quality of life for people living with diabetes.
This year’s 10th annual awards ceremony is scheduled to take place at Sanofi’s Reading headquarters on Thursday, 15th October (subject to latest government advice on events and social gatherings).
The Quality in Care Diabetes 2020 Awards are supported by DRWF.

The DRWF team is now working remotely. Covid-19 guidance, particularly where it aligns or impacts with diabetes guidance, is shared as quickly as possible through the DRWF website and social media channels with the aim of making it as easy to understand as possible and a reliable source of latest news.
