Host a Coffee Morning. Make Twice the Difference 🍰

This November, we’re asking you to turn those moments into something even more meaningful - by hosting your own Coffee Morning in support of DRWF.

Whether it’s a table in the office kitchen, a get-together with friends at home, or a bake sale in your local community - every brew and slice you share will help fund vital diabetes research and support for people living with the condition.

🗓️ World Diabetes Day on 14th November is the perfect opportunity to get involved. It’s a day to raise awareness, learn a little more, and take small actions that make a big difference.

💙 Even better! When you donate the money you raise through our Big Give Christmas Challenge, your fundraising will be doubled at no extra cost to you! That means your coffee morning can help twice as many people, fund twice as much research, and spread twice as much hope.

How to host your Coffee Morning

Pick a date that works for you

You can choose a date that works for you — that’s the beauty of this campaign!

It’s worth noting, though, that World Diabetes Day falls on 14 November, with this year’s theme: Diabetes and Wellbeing.

This focuses on ensuring everyone with diabetes can access the care and support they need to live well. We invite you to host your coffee morning around this date if you can.

Use our resource pack and have fun!

To make it easy, we’ve put together a handy host pack with bunting, posters, and our ‘spot the teabag’ game to help your coffee morning run smoothly.

No contribution is too small and every pound raised helps fund life-changing support and research.

Donation Timing: Make Every Pound magically double!

Please hold off paying in your fundraising until our Big Give campaign opens online between 2nd – 9th December.

During this period, every pound donated will be doubled through their matched funding programme — meaning your efforts will go twice as far, but you still donate the same!
