Interactive course aims to help people with diabetes and healthcare professionals learn about the latest diabetes device technology.

A new course has been launched offering expert advice from leading healthcare professionals on how to better understand and make the most of the latest diabetes device Flash Glucose Monitoring system.

ABCD (Association of British Clinical Diabetologists) and DTN-UK (Diabetes Technology Network UK) has developed the DTN-UK Flash Glucose Monitoring Education Programme which is available online in a series of modules.

A statement from DTN-UK said: “Expert health care professionals and users of the Flash Glucose Monitoring system have developed a range of modules which we hope provide you with a better understanding of and into how to make the most of this device.”

The course is designed for people living with diabetes and healthcare professionals working with people who use the FreeStyle Libre flash glucose monitoring system.

The programme includes a series of webcasts by leading diabetes healthcare professionals.

Once the webcasts dates have passed these modules will be available for you to watch on the DTN website for free.

Each presentation will be followed with a live question and answer session. Participants will also have the opportunity to post questions online to the panel of experts.
