We talk to comedian Sajeela Kershi, who is living with type 2 diabetes who wants to raise awareness in her South Asian community. She attempts to manage her condition alongside a challenging lifestyle on the road as a comedian. Claire Levy talks with Professor Parth Narendran, who is part of a national effort to explore the feasibility of early surveillance programmes for pre-type 1 diabetes and which therapies are best tested in the prevention arena. Claire also speaks with John Story, the father of Lyla Story - who tragically died in early May 2025 from DKA.
