Dr Mark Russell tells DRWF’s Claire Levy about research which studies a molecule that controls levels of specific genes and how this influences energy generation and insulin production in Beta cells.

In this edition, Dr Li Kang tells DRWF’s Claire Levy about research which looks at how the outside structure of cells change when they stop responding normally to insulin. This, in turn, alters how insulin works and informs the development of new drugs to help people living with diabetes.
